Choose Your TITLE Tags - Wordpress SEO Title Tag Plugin

One of the things I am hoping to accomplish with this blog is to provide helpful or useful information to webmasters so that we can all maintain our websites better.  SEO is a huge part of making your websites better and more popular.  To that end, there will be plenty of SEO tips for webmasters of all different technical levels from beginner to expert.  Hopefully, everyone will find something of value here in these pages.

When I started creating blogs, SEO was one of the most important factors of consideration for me in all aspects of the blog.  I considered SEO before even choosing a blogging platform.  One big reason I chose Wordpress to do my blogging on is the fact that there seems to be no end to available themes and plugins.

Matthew has specifically asked about SEO optimization for the TITLE tag in Wordpress.  I have found a nifty little plugin for Wordpress blogs that gives you total control over the TITLE tag on your web pages within your blog.  You can use this plugin to set the TITLE tag on your homepage as well as post pages and it’s great for SEO.  As many of you will know, the META TITLE tag is one of the most important tags on a web page.  The TITLE tag is quite often the keywords that you will rank best for.

If you are looking for the SEO Title tag plugin for Wordpress, you can find it here.  I highly suggest that you install it if you haven’t already and make sure to install it on any future blogs that you create.  It is a ‘must have’ for your Wordpress blog.

Yeah. It’s pretty easy to implement and does the job nicely! :)

Stay tuned, my friend, because there’s a lot more where that came from.
We’re just scratching the surface right now, but I have found a few great SEO plugins for Wordpress.

I also use this plugin and from what I see it is the best one for the title.

Now my problem is finding one thats perfect for the description and keywords. The one I am currently using looks like spam!

I have two plugins installed on this blog for keywords and I’ve been playing around with them a little bit.
I’m not entirely happy with either of them, but they do allow for choosing keywords manually.
I will be posting about them soon. :)
